Breaking a boulder — with a Wooden pickaxe, or any pickaxe — gives 1 flint, 50% of the time.
Breaking a rock outcrop — with a Wooden pickaxe, or any pickaxe — gives 1 flint, 60% of the time.
Picking flint lying about by hand gives 1 flint.
Breaking a stalagmite — with a Wooden pickaxe, or any pickaxe — gives 1 flint, 20% of the time.
An abandoned dwelling's chest holds 1 to 6 things, the dearer the rarer; each is flint 6% of the time, 1–4 at a time.
The game's recipe book says: “it lies about; boulders give it too”.
